Sharing projects & locations
Give users access at the project or location level.
Users only see data explicitly shared with them — at the Project level (all its locations) or at individual Location level.
Common Scenarios
How do I share a project with someone?
Click ⋮ on the project card → Share. Pick the user(s) and assign a permission level. Save. Access is granted immediately.
How do I share with a whole department?
Soarvo shares per-user, not per-group. Add each member in the share dialog in one go. For groups you share with regularly, keep a user list outside Soarvo for reference.
How do I revoke someone's access to a project?
Open the share dialog (⋮ → Share), find the user, and remove them. Access is revoked immediately; their data stays in the project.
How do I share just one location without the whole project?
Use ⋮ → Share on the Location card. The user gets access to that location only, not sibling locations or the wider project.
I shared a project but the user can't see it — why?
Check their account status in User Management. If UNCONFIRMED, they haven't set a password yet — sharing only takes effect after account activation.
Do Project Managers need explicit sharing?
No. Administrators and Project Managers see every project automatically. Sharing applies only to Project Supervisors, Editors, Viewers, and Mobile roles.
Who Can Share?
Before Sharing
The user needs a Confirmed account. See Inviting Users if their status is Unconfirmed.
How to Share a Project
- Click ⋮ on the project card.
- Select Share.
- Search for and select the user, then confirm.
The user immediately gains access to the project and all its locations.

Removing Access
- Open the sharing panel (⋮ → Share) on the project or location.
- Click remove or × next to the user's name.
