Quick Start Guide for Admins

Overview

This guide walks a new Soarvo Administrator through the essential setup steps — from first login to having a team member working with live data. Estimated time: 15–30 minutes.


Step 1 — Log In

  1. Open your invitation email and click the activation link.
  2. Set your password.
  3. Go to live.soarvo.com, log in, and accept the Terms of Use.

Step 2 — Understand the Structure

Soarvo organises data as Projects → Locations. A project groups related sites; a location holds the actual datasets for one specific site.

Step 3 — Create Your First Project

  1. On the home screen, click the + New Project card.
  2. Enter a Project name and pick a Project category.
  3. Set the Coordinate system and Measurement system.
  4. Click Go to Project.

Step 4 — Create Your First Location

  1. Inside your new project, click to add a location.
  2. Name the location and set its map pin coordinates.
  3. Save.

Step 5 — Upload Data

  1. Open the location.
  2. Find the File upload panel in the Data Viewer.
  3. Click Upload files, select your file, and wait for the green tick ✓.

Step 6 — Invite a Team Member

  1. Click the account iconUser Management+ New user.
  2. Enter their email and assign a role.
  3. Share the project or location with them once they confirm.
