Overview
Soarvo supports multi-factor authentication (MFA) (also called 2FA): sign in with your password and a one-time code from an authenticator app.
ℹ️
Recommended for: All Administrators and Project Managers. MFA is the most effective protection against password compromise.
Setting Up MFA
MFA setup is in your account profile. The exact path may vary by organisation:
- Log in to live.soarvo.com.
- Click the avatar (top-right) → Account information.
- Find the Security or Multi-factor authentication section.
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, or similar).
- Enter the 6-digit code to confirm setup.
⚠️
If the option isn't visible, your organisation may enforce MFA centrally. Contact your Soarvo Administrator or support via
soarvo.com/contact.
Logging In with MFA
Once MFA is enabled:
- Enter your email and password.
- Open your authenticator app and read the 6-digit code.
- Enter the code and click Continue.
Codes refresh every 30 seconds — wait for the next one if it expires before you submit.
Recovery Codes
⚠️
Save your recovery codes during MFA setup. If you lose access to your authenticator app, they are the only way to sign in without contacting support. Store them in a password manager or somewhere safe.
Checking Who Has MFA Enabled
Administrators can review MFA status:
- Click the account icon → User Management.
- Open the Filters panel.
- Under MFA login used, select Yes or No.
💡
Tip: Use this filter to nudge users who haven't enabled MFA, or confirm Administrator coverage before sensitive operations.
If You're Locked Out
If you have no authenticator access and no recovery codes:
- Contact your Soarvo Administrator — they may be able to reset MFA on your account.
- If you are the Administrator, contact support via soarvo.com/contact from a verified address. Identity verification is required before MFA can be reset.
