Who's the Contract With?

The Soarvo platform is operated by K-Matic Ireland Limited, trading as Soarvo — a company organised under the laws of Ireland, registered at Unit B7, Riverview Business Park, Nangor Road, Dublin 12 (company number 721654, VAT IE 4025473WH).

All customer-facing communication, support, and product use happens under the Soarvo brand.

What the Terms Cover

The Terms of Use is structured in five parts. Each part has its own scope but applies together as one agreement.

Part
What it covers
Main Terms
Scope, definitions, fair use, payment, subscription, IP, warranties, liability, governing law.
Mobile App EULA
End-User Licence Agreement for the Soarvo Mobile app on iOS and Android.
Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
GDPR-aligned terms covering Soarvo's role as Data Processor, sub-processors, breach notification, data subject rights, and international transfers.
Privacy Policy
How Soarvo collects, uses, retains, and shares personal data. Legal bases under GDPR, retention periods, data subject rights, cookies.
Token Pricing Schedule
Reference for processing token consumption (drone imagery, point clouds, photogrammetry). See Resource Limits.

Key Points at a Glance

Subscription, payment, and renewal

  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled by notice before the renewal date.
  • Customer pays subscription fees plus applicable taxes and any additional service charges.
  • Soarvo may temporarily suspend the service for security risk, terms violation, overdue payment, or customer bankruptcy.

Fair use

Use of the platform is governed by a Fair Usage Policy. Reasonable use is expected; abusive use (excessive API calls, hosting illegal content, attempting to access data of other customers) may result in suspension.

Intellectual property

  • Customer data stays the customer's property. Soarvo only processes it as needed to provide the service.
  • Soarvo platform, code, and design are Soarvo's intellectual property.
  • Customer grants Soarvo a limited licence to process their data for service delivery.

Confidentiality

Both parties protect each other's Confidential Information using reasonable care, equivalent to how they protect their own.

Termination

  • Customer can cancel a subscription at the end of the current term.
  • On termination, all unpaid fees become immediately payable.
  • Customer has a 2-day grace period after termination to download their data before it's removed.

Warranties and liability

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available." Soarvo's aggregate liability is capped at the fees paid by the customer in the 12 months preceding any claim. Indirect, incidental, and consequential damages are excluded as permitted by law. (Read the full text in the PDF — these sections are deliberately precise.)

Governing law

The agreement is governed by the laws of Ireland, with disputes handled by the courts of Ireland.

Data Protection and GDPR

Soarvo's data protection framework complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK Data Protection Act 2018. The detail lives in two appendices to the Terms:

  • Data Processing Agreement (DPA) — governs Soarvo's role when processing customer-controlled personal data. Covers sub-processors, security measures, breach notification, and audit rights.
  • Privacy Policy — covers personal data Soarvo collects directly (account information, billing, usage logs). Includes legal bases, retention, data subject rights, and cookies.

For Soarvo's technical and operational security controls, see Security & Compliance.

Sub-Processors and Third-Party Components

Soarvo uses a small number of sub-processors to deliver the service — including Amazon Web Services (AWS) for hosting, payment processors, and email delivery providers. The current list is maintained in the DPA appendix and updated when new sub-processors are added.

The platform also incorporates open-source software and third-party map components (Cesium, Google Maps, Bing Maps, Ordnance Survey), each subject to its own licence.

Trial and Beta Access

Free trials and beta access are governed by the same Terms with some additional limitations — trial accounts have time limits and feature restrictions, and beta features are provided with no warranties and may be changed or removed.

Updates to the Terms

Soarvo may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes are notified to customers in advance. The current version's effective date is shown at the top of this article and on the front page of the PDF.
