Tips for a Successful Upload

  • File name = layer name. Rename files before upload to match your desired layer name in Soarvo.
  • Coordinate system. Your file must use the same coordinate system as the project. Mismatches are the most common cause of upload errors.
  • Shapefiles must be zipped: .shp, .dbf, .shx, and .prj in one ZIP.
  • OBJ meshes must be zipped with .mtl and textures. Avoid spaces in texture filenames.
  • Multiple point cloud files for a single dataset should be zipped together.
⚠️ Note: Support for all variations of listed file types is ongoing. Some edge cases may require review by the Soarvo team.
