Installing & first sign-in
Install Soarvo Mobile and sign in for the first time.
Overview
How to install Soarvo Mobile and sign in for the first time — for new Mobile-User and Mobile-Only team members.
ℹ️ Before you start: An Administrator, Project Manager, or Project Supervisor must have invited you. Set your password via the activation email before continuing. If you haven't, see Logging In for the First Time.
Step 1 — Install the App
Search for Soarvo in your device's app store:
- Android — Google Play Store → search "Soarvo" → tap Install.
- iOS — App Store → search "Soarvo" → tap Get.
⚠️ Device requirements: Soarvo Mobile runs on recent Android and iOS operating systems.
Step 2 — Allow Permissions
Grant all permissions on first launch — field capture won't work without them:
- Location — to record GPS positions
- Camera — to take photos attached to features
- Storage / Photos — to save and upload captured photos
- Bluetooth - for connections to external devices
Step 3 — Sign In
- Open Soarvo Mobile.
- Enter the email address your Administrator used to invite you.
- Enter your password.
- Tap Log in.
💡 Tip: Tap Forgot password on the login screen to reset. See Resetting Your Password.
Step 4 — First Sync
Soarvo downloads your shared projects, locations, and feature types. The first sync may take 30 seconds to a few minutes. When complete, your Location list appears — tap any location to open it and start capturing.
What if My Locations Don't Appear?
If the location list is empty after sync:
- No projects shared with you yet. Ask your Administrator or Project Manager to share them. See Sharing Projects & Locations.
- Wrong role. Confirm your role is Mobile-User, Mobile-Only, or another role with mobile access (Administrator, Project Manager, Project Supervisor, Editor).
- Pull-to-refresh. Pull down from the top of the location list to force a re-sync.
Day-to-Day Sign-In
Soarvo Mobile stays signed in across app restarts. You only need to sign in again if you sign out manually or your session expires.
