Step 1 — Set up the nordalp RTK app
- Open the nordalp RTK app on your Android device.
- Connect to the provider so you can access the Configuration menu.
- Enable GST NMEA messages for high-accuracy readings.
- Go to app settings:
- Untick Auto Connect for the provider; set to off.
- Untick Auto Connect for NTRIP; set to off.
- Tap Disconnect if the provider is still connected.
- Exit the nordalp RTK app. Optionally Force Stop it (long-press the app icon → App Info → Force Stop).
Step 2 — Configure Soarvo Mobile
- Open Soarvo Mobile and sign in.
- Open any location.
- Go to the GPS and Device Manager page.
- Under Position Source, select Nordalp X6 Pro.
Step 3 — Add NTRIP corrections (optional)
For RTK corrections, enter your NTRIP provider details in the GPS and Device Manager:
- NTRIP URL — format:
{PROTOCOL}://{SERVER_ADDRESS}:{PORT}(e.g.http://ntrip.example.com:2101) - Mountpoint — the specific stream from your NTRIP provider
- Username and Password — supplied by your NTRIP provider
Once entered, the X6 PRO receives corrections and feeds RTK-grade positions to Soarvo Mobile.
💡
Tip: Use RTCM 3.x-compatible mountpoints — newer Soarvo and nordalp builds expect RTCM 3.x.
Verifying RTK Fix
Open the GPS panel in Soarvo Mobile — the position source should read Nordalp X6 Pro and accuracy should drop to centimetre-level once RTK Fixed is achieved.
