Inviting Users to Soarvo
Overview
Before a team member can log in, they need to receive an invitation from an Administrator, Project Manager, or Project Supervisor. Only Administrators can invite other Administrators.
Common Scenarios
Find the scenario that matches yours.
How do I invite a new Administrator?
Only existing Administrators can invite other Administrators. Go to User Management, click + New user, fill in their details, pick administrator from the Role dropdown, and confirm the row.
How do I invite a Project Manager or Project Supervisor?
Administrators, Project Managers, and Project Supervisors can all invite users in lower roles. Follow the steps below — pick project-manager or project-supervisor from the Role dropdown.
How do I invite a field surveyor for mobile-only access?
Assign the Mobile-Only role. The new user gets app access but no web portal access. After they confirm their account, you'll also need to share specific projects or locations with them — Mobile-Only users don't see all projects automatically.
How do I bulk-invite a team?
Soarvo's User Management doesn't support bulk CSV import in the UI. For teams of 5+, the fastest path is to click + New user for each person in quick succession — each invite triggers an immediate email. Have the team confirm their accounts in parallel.
How do I invite a contractor temporarily?
Invite them as a regular user (typically Editor or Viewer), share only the projects they need, and remove them via Managing and Removing Users when the contract ends.
