Digitising & Editing Features

Overview

Once a feature type is set up, Administrators, Project Managers, Project Supervisors, and Editors can digitise features directly on the map — placing points, drawing lines, and outlining polygons on top of loaded data.

Creating a Feature

  1. In the Project Features panel, click the feature type you want to digitise.
  2. Click the map to place geometry:
    • Point — single click to place
    • Line — click to add nodes; double-click to finish
    • Polygon — click to add vertices; double-click to close
  3. Click the pencil icon to open the attribute form.
  4. Fill in the required fields.
  5. Click Save.
