Digitising & Editing Features
Overview
Once a feature type is set up, Administrators, Project Managers, Project Supervisors, and Editors can digitise features directly on the map — placing points, drawing lines, and outlining polygons on top of loaded data.
Creating a Feature
- In the Project Features panel, click the feature type you want to digitise.
- Click the map to place geometry:
- Point — single click to place
- Line — click to add nodes; double-click to finish
- Polygon — click to add vertices; double-click to close
- Click the pencil icon to open the attribute form.
- Fill in the required fields.
- Click Save.

💡
Tip: Mandatory attributes are indicated in the form. The feature won't save until all required fields are complete.
Editing an Existing Feature
- Switch to Select Mode in the Project Features panel.
- Click the feature on the map to select it.
- Click the pencil icon to edit its attributes, or drag geometry nodes to adjust position.
- Click Save.
Deleting a Feature
- In Select Mode, click the feature to select it.
- Click the ⋮ (three dots) on the selected feature.
- Choose Delete.

Note: Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
